ma redirection www ne fonctionne pas?

Bonjour,
pour un site mis en ligner hier, j'ai fait une redirection dans le htaccess pour le non-www vers le www en rajoutant ceci après RewriteEngine On :

mon site étant encore.be

ça ne fonctionne pas, j'ai trouvé des alternatives à ce code par ci par là sur le web, avec des petites choses qui changent, mais rien n'y a fait, pas moyen d'avoir une redirection qui fonctionne..
j'ai renommé le htaccess.txt en .htaccess et n'ai pas d'autres fichiers htaccess sur mon site...
quelqu'un peut-il me dire ou est l'astuce?
j'ai du essayer 5 codes différents mais en vain...
les sites de vérification de redirection me disent tous que encore.be n'existe pas ou ne redirige vers rien...

ou est l'astuce ici?

ps: détail qui compte pt etre, mon site est fait sur joomla 2.5.4

Je te donne la technique que j'utilise sur mon site et qui fonctionne chez moi. Ce sont les deux dernières lignes qui t'intéresse dans ton cas:

testé mais en vain, ça ne fonctionne pas non plus, mon navigateur me redirige bien mais les redirect checker me disent que le lien est mort...

personne n'a une autre idée? je sèche là, j'essaye les codes de tout le monde, mais pas moyen, tous les checker me disent que ça ne marche pas...

nope, ça ne marche pas,
mon site est hébergé chez un particulier, ici en région liégeoise (belgique). ça peut venir de là?

Oui cela peut venir de l’hébergeur,

as-tu bien ajouté ce code sur la première ligne dans ton .htaccess et fait bien un retour charriot entre chaques lignes :

bon ben il semble que c'était bien du coté hébergeur, il fallait activer quelque chose en DNS, mon hébergeur l'a fait et ça fonctionne :)
